Dr. Jonathan Ravdin

President and Chief Executive Officer

As a leader, Dr. Ravdin is committed to helping good organizations become great by providing clarity around a set of strategic goals and objectives and by insisting on organizational efficiency and personal accountability in the achievement of those goals. With his leadership experience at Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland VA Medical Center, at the University of Minnesota and most recently at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his extensive knowledge of clinical practice management and modern bioinformatics, Dr. Ravdin brings enormous energy and insight to meet the challenges facing PDS as it seeks to deploy mission-critical cloud computing, data warehousing and healthcare analytics services for its customers in the region.

Dr. Ravdin is a widely-recognized physician scientist having performed laboratory and years of field work in Mexico, South Africa, Egypt and India to develop an experimental vaccine designed to prevent infection and, potentially, eradicate Entamoeba histolytica, an enteric protozoan parasite that is highly endemic worldwide. Dr. Ravdin has authored or co-authored more than 270 articles, abstracts and book chapters. He received 27 years of continuous funding support from the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Ravdin is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians; these honors are only bestowed on researchers in academic medicine whose accomplishments are deemed highly scientifically distinguished. Before moving to Cleveland, Dr. Ravdin served on the faculty of the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine, where he received awards for excellence in teaching and research. Dr. Ravdin received an engineering degree (B.E.M.E.) from the City College of New York, an M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed a residency in internal medicine at The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in infectious diseases and global health at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine.

Todd Adams

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Todd brings invaluable insight and expertise to PDS. After graduating from UW-Whitewater with a BBA in Accounting, Todd worked for two regional CPA firms performing audit and tax work. Todd then received his CPA certificate in 1983 and accepted the internal auditor’s role at the largest media company in the state of Wisconsin: Journal Communications. After three years of performing audits and tax work, he was promoted to assistant controller of Journal Communication’s largest division: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

In 1988, Todd was promoted to Controller and in 1993 was promoted to Senior Vice President – CFO of Journal Sentinel. Todd was responsible for the company’s purchasing, finance and information technologies functions. By helping drive the top line growth as well as overall business efficiencies, for the next 13 years, Todd was involved with virtually all aspects of the newspaper business, including leading the business strategy of the paper, being part of customer pricing decisions, expense reductions and more.

A highlight for Todd was serving an integral role in the building and purchasing of a $113 million dollar plant and equipment for a new state of the art printing facility. The project won various worldwide awards. In addition, Todd served as President of the newspaper financial group in 2003/2004, a 900-member organization.

From 2007 to 2010, Todd was CFO of three portfolio companies of The Comvest Group, a private equity firm out of West Palm Beach, Florida, working with distressed companies. In searching for something closer to home, Todd later became the Interim CFO of Dedicated Computing and Tushaus Computer Services. Most recently in 2012, Todd was named CFO of Paragon Development Systems (PDS).

Austin Park

Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Austin Park serves as SVP and CTO of PDS, where he is responsible for architecting a cohesive strategy for the organization. He directly oversees research and development, consulting services, and project execution. He also leads the development of  the company’s cloud offerings, including the Cloud Extension Center.

Park joined PDS in 2004 as VP of Infrastructure Services. In this role, he built out new advanced technology solutions and organized the services group to build strong technical depth in the company’s core disciplines. He was promoted to CTO in 2007, at which time he began managing PDS technology competencies and service operations.

Prior to PDS, he held various management and consulting roles in the IT industry, including serving as EVP and CTO at MBT, Inc. Park currently sits on the North American Partner Advisory Board for VMware, HP Executive Channel Advisory Panel for HP ESSN, and Cisco North America Channel Advisory Board. He also volunteers his time to act in an advisory capacity to local community technical colleges in curriculum development.

John Miller

Vice President, Sales

John Miller joined PDS via the acquisition of Entre in February 2000. He is responsible for the overall sales strategy, including new client development, regional sales expansion and legacy market management. Miller has 15 years of experience directly in IT sales having grown from an inside sales role, to outside sales, to sales management and to executive sales leadership. He has also grown the company’s regional expansion in key geographic markets such as Illinois, Ohio, and Minnesota.

Miller’s philosophy of consultative selling can be felt by PDS’s growing customer base, as the PDS sales team is measured by their impact to their clients’ business. He also plays an active and visible role with mass and strategic marketing activities, including the role as contributing writer for Lead IT Magazine and as a regular speaker at PDS and industry sales and marketing events. Key to his speaking and writing is strong testimonial and movement to partnership strategies that accelerate business growth. He has served on an advisory board for Lenovo while also being actively involved in the PDS’s primary vendor relationships, including, but not limited to, HP, IBM, NetApp, and VMware. Along with earning recognition as chapter president for the American Marketing Association and the prestigious Organization of the Year award during his tenure-ship as president, Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Michigan University. Miller was recently named to In Business Magazine’s prestigious “40 under 40″ list for 2011.

Ray Arndt

Vice President of Professional Services

Ray Arndt joined PDS in 2013 as our Vice President of Professional Services. In this role, Ray is responsible for the development and growth of the organizational capabilities and competencies that enable our clients to achieve positive business outcomes through the leverage of a full-range of PDS Professional Services; from traditional field support, to our 24×7 service desk operations, and our consulting, implementation and managed services offerings.

Ray comes to PDS with 20+ years of executive leadership experience in the technology services industry with Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Digital Equipment Corporation, including roles such as VP/General Manager Americas HP Consulting and Integration, and VP Global Resource Management for HP Services. He possesses a breadth of leadership experience in the areas of business development, sales & marketing, operations, and strategy & change management, along with a consistent track record of translating corporate intent into action and superior results while establishing new services operations and turning around under-performing businesses. Most recently, Ray was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Safway Services, LLC.

Michael Grall

Senior Vice President of Healthcare & Business Development

Mike joined PDS in 1995 to head up their healthcare market expansion. In addition to his healthcare market experience, he brought with him a strong operational and sales background and leads many of those functions at PDS today. Currently Internal IT, e-Commerce, Software Development, Vendor Relations, Procurement, Inside Sales and the Novation relationship are under Mike’s executive leadership. Prior to PDS, Mike served as the Marketing and Operations Director for a software development division of Teamcare Pharmacy. His overall experience working with the healthcare and IT markets spans more than 17 years. In addition to his duties at PDS, Mike also sits on an advisory board for Fujitsu Corporation. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UW Madison and a Masters of Business Administration from UW Milwaukee.

Jen Wegner

Vice President Government/Education Practice

Jen joined PDS as the Vice President for Government/Education Practice in 2013.  Jen’s previous experiences provide a unique perspective and insight to the PDS Team.  Jen started her career as a Business and Information Technology teacher with over 16 years of experience within PK-12 institutions, and then transitioned to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, where she served as an Education Consultant since 2008 and an Assistant Director at the Department until 2013.  Jen has also taught technology and online courses at both the technical college and university level for 16 years.  Jen has a true passion for education and also considers herself a true technology enthusiast, having served as a Technology Coordinator, Trainer and Reviewer for many years.

Jen has a BS in Business Administration from Marian College, an MA in Education from Michigan State University, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She is Past President of the Wisconsin Business Education Association, a regional leader in the National Business Education Association and many other organizations.  Currently, Jen serves on the executive board for the Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America Foundation.  Jen has received numerous honors and awards for her efforts and expertise as an educator and administrative leader.  Most recently Jen received the prestigious Hosler Award for outstanding contributions to education.

Kerry Marti

Vice President, Product Services

Kerry Marti joined PDS in 1992. He leads the configuration and logistics teams at PDS. With a continual focus on supply-chain efficiency and streamlining the fulfillment processes for PDS clients, Mr. Marti has been responsible for many of the innovative product delivery solutions at PDS, including co-creation the Rack N Roll packaging and delivery system.

Gareth Harwood

Vice President, Marketing

Gareth leads all aspects of the PDS brand, marketing and communication strategies. With over 18 years of marketing experience, Gareth’s diverse background and creative influence has contributed heavily to PDS’s competitive advantage and market differentiators. Prior to joining PDS in 2004, Gareth relocated his consulting business from Southern California to Milwaukee, where his creative leadership helped drive market development for businesses ranging from high-tech and manufacturing start-ups, to large OEMs, e-commerce, and healthcare informatics based companies. Gareth resides in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin with his wife and two daughters, and is a current board member of the Oconomowoc Area Foundation.

Anita Wietrzny

Vice President of Human Resources

Anita joined PDS as Vice President of Human Resources in 2013 to oversee the HR function and ensure HR is closely integrated into PDS’ business strategy. Prior to joining PDS, Anita served as the Director of HR Operations for a Fortune 500 company, Fiserv, Inc. With more than 18 years of experience in the HR and employment law arena, Anita brings with her the ability to build upon key HR competencies to drive positive impact in the areas of workforce planning/management and employee performance, development, engagement and retention. Anita’s educational background consists of a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Law Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
